One of two pubs in the village of Guilsfield, this one appeared to be favoured by a slightly older clientele. You enter into the main bar area which extends off to the right-hand side. There is a dining room to the left.
The interior is carpeted with the odd pillar to break up the space. I sat at a table next to a dartboard. There is also a pool table. Both real ales were from Stonehouse - Station Bitter & Cambrian Gold. The barmaid was quite friendly and the female chef also made an appearance and was recognised by a former schoolmate from the '60's/'70's.
