This pub was originally called the Central Tavern.
The pub has had many name changes over the years and was a gay pub for quite a while.
Once inside the pub had two fairly large rooms that were very basic,the pub used to be a Whitbread tied house and there were no real ales on the bar,the keg Whitbread Tankard was always a pretty bad drink.
The last occasion that i went in this pub it was called Gadsbys and it was gay friendly which amused my wife while we were in here.
The pub has been closed on a number of occasions and i am not sure if it is still open or what name it is now trading under.
