Alan Winfield left this review about The Graduate

The Graduate opened a couple of months ago,the pub is situated at the bottom end of ilkeston road and is close to the new student flats in this area.
Once inside the pub is like a small box with high ceilings, the bar is to the right and there are four posh looking chandiliers hanging above it which looked very strange for a modern bar like this.
There are tall tables and chairs near the bar and on the left wall there is leather bench seating with uncomfortable looking chairs.
There were no real ales on the bar and the keg option was Tetley extra cold crap which it was.
The bar was quite busy with students who were having meals.
This is basically a lock up unit with a bar in it and is not a worthy replacement for the many pubs that have closed in this area of radford.
