Although there are two hand pumps on the bar and both WhatPub and What's Yours Then, the local Camra mag, both state unequivocally that there is real ale here, there was in fact nothing available at the time of my visit.

Nearest (by a few feet) pub to the Ness portside, this is a long single-storey old stone building with a new Everest style conservatory bolted onto the side for diners. Main bar has exposed stone walls, wood burning stove, mounted stag head and antlers plus a TV tuned to some godawful property porn programme when I dropped by. A rear area hosts a pool table. Not much seating to be had for the casual drinker. Two ales, Loch Ness Golden Ness (pretty good nick) and Isle of Sky Red (on the turn). Plenty of malts, as to be expected. Not bad, served its purpose adequately. 5.5
