multi roomed pub about a mile outside Hyde town centre and is much the same as Alan describes in 1995.Did not think the beer selection was up to much and thought the pub was short of a good spruce up.

The Flowery Field is a bare brick built pub that is named after the area of Hyde which it is in.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms,i had a drink in a fairly nice room that could have been a smart bar.
The pub was a free house when i visited it and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter which was a decent drink the other beer was Websters bitter.
The pub is set in the back streets so it can be easiy missed if drinking in North Hyde.
