Batrsca is a Spanish Tapas bar housed in the former bar Dogma down Byard lane just off the main road. definitley not a pub and time be honest  Bar and restaurant is pushing things a bit as aside from a very slim number of bar stools there is no designated drinkers areas it is all for dining. If a group came in here after only beverages I don't think you would have much luck.

Anyway I was on a works doo so we half a table booked but not before a long wait stood at the bar and getting completley ignored for ten minutes until our table was ready. Obviously no real ale just typical overpriced premium lagers like Estrella for £5.10. They did however have a gust keg of Adams Mosaic which despite being cold and fizzy went down quite well, £5.30 mind!

Overall is a Spanish tapas resturant so not really something for pubs galore but all things aside I didnt think it was anything specail and would be in no great hurry to return

Alan Winfield left this review about Dogma

Dogma is situated on the narrow byard lane just down from the more well known Cross Keys.
There are a few tables and chairs outside the pub which probably dont ever catch the sun, once inside there is a small front area which was bare boarded with some leather bench seats and a couple of normal tables and chairs, the bar is in the larger rear area and this is on the right side, the rear area had two large leather settees in the middle and some tall backed leather bench seating around the sides.
There was lots of trendy ducting on the ceiling which does'nt impress me one bit.
There was one real ale on the bar this was Castle Rock Harvest Pale which was a decent drink but a bit to warm for my liking.
There is a seperate restaurant and bar upstairs but this was not in use on my afternoon visit.
This bar is a real ale gain but it is not really the sort of place i like to go in.
