The Glass Onion seems to be staying put as previous attempts at putting a bar here all seem to fail, so the onion must be doing something right. The interior is small with the bar facing you over on the right. There is two handpumps, with a regular JW Lees bitter on and that's about it. The pub does have a good atmosphere and doesn't attract any trouble makers.

A tiny star in a busy city centre universe, however great prices , cheerful staff, and enough tv's to watch a match or race wherever you are seated/standing,

Another horse racing pub. Excellent prices for where it is. Full of scruffy blokes prattling on to each other about whichever horse/jockey/trainer has just lost em £10 etc though.

This is a great little pub ! Ive visited a couple of times in the day, but not in the evening. There are several wide screen TV's showing live sport dotted about, but the main attraction is the excellent range of beers at VERY low prices ! Recommended
