Steve C left this review about The Floating Bridge

Th Floating Bridge is so named due to the proximity of the cable ferry over the road. Outside the front of the pub are some picnic tables and the entrance leads to an L-shaped bar through to the right. The serving counter is on the rear wall and the seating is found around the exterior walls. During my late afternoon visit all the tables in the bar area were taken by diners. The bar supports four handpumps, two of which were unused which left Otter Ale and Sharp’s Sea Fury as the cask ale options. A limited premium and standard keg range was also available. I went for half an Otter which was expensive at £2.50 for a half. This is the sister pub of the Seven Stars which is also £2.50 for a half. To the left of the entrance is a small seating area and beyond is a thin dining area. The Bridge Burger is priced at £18. Upstairs is a roof terrace with nice views over the river and there are six en-suite rooms available for hire. I found the service to be friendly and would return.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Floating Bridge

Old inn by the Higher Ferry (a cable ferry, aka a 'floating bridge') with quite a plain white façade but having a very attractive, traditional bar with river views and a more modern-looking restaurant to the other side of the main entrance. Also has two rows of wooden bench tables out front. Three of four handpumps in use, offering Otter Bitter, Betty Stogs (£4.40) and Sharp's Sea Fury.
