Quinno _ left this review about Kings House Hotel

A characterful inn, sitting in splendid isolation towards the base of Glencoe and was used as a barracks after the battle of Battle of Culloden in 1745. Multi-room interior, split into a ‘walkers’ bar and a ‘cocktail’ bar, though the Walkers bar is basically a lounge room affording a superb view of Glencoe. The main action is in the Cocktail bar, a large L shaped room with a pool table at the extended rear. The older part of the room is done out in a pseudo Swiss chalet lounge style. Two ales, Thwaites Lancaster Bomber and Cairngorm Black Gold, the latter of which was in excellent nick and served-up by friendly staff. Ate here and the food was good. Impromptu live music courtesy of one of the other WHW walkers. Also, watch out for the local deer who hang around outside and get fed kitchen scraps in the latter part of the evening. Definitely one of the best inns on the West Highland Way and worth a visit as a pub in its own right.

The rooms aren't bad either, bar the showers.
