Blackthorn _ left this review about Las Iguanas

Although primarily a Mexican restaurant, there is nonetheless a bar counter at one end and a small area where you can sit and have a pint, or you can grab one of the tables outside in the decent weather which is a pleasant enough spot to watch the comings and goings in Millennium Square. Bar service was a little slow with many people ordering cocktails and the majority of the staff dealing with orders coming from the restaurant.

Decor wise, the colour scheme is a mixture of red and green with small mosaic tiling on the floor and a few Mexican inspired accessories around such as screens made out of bamboo, cane blinds on the windows and various pieces of tropical looking foliage. The suspended ceiling is made from strips of wood and there were multi-coloured lamps affixed to it.

The menu was quite extensive and offered the usual Mexican selection of fajitas, chimichangas and enchiladas with most of the main courses coming in somewhere around the £8 - £12 range. I didn’t eat on this occasion but have done previously and found it to be reasonable enough, although nothing particularly memorable.

There were no ales on tap unfortunately, real or otherwise. The solitary cider was Stowford Press.
