Komakino . left this review about The Romany Inn

A clear second to the excellent Morris Clown, this has letting rooms, but is in essence a local boozer with plenty in situ on a Sunday arvo visit, gathered around watching a Rugby Union game on TV which was a bit of a sporting change for the time of day of the week. A front entrance with wooden wheelchair-access ramp leads you into a semi-rectangular room, with the area to your left seemingly left for dining (everyone else occupied the remainder of the room). A small portion of the bar faces with no real ale pumps, but if you walk around a stone column, the bar is revealed to be an L-shape, and a narrow area mostly occupied by a table with bench periphery seating had three stumps - two offering Shakespeare Bard's Best and Yubberton Yubby. The area to the right had the TV above a fireplace and a dartboard to its right. Round tables and semi-armchair seats were all occupied by aged locals, and not for the first time in my ticking adventures, I was the youngest by a long stretch. Another great local.
