Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Post House
Converted post office located in the 'Cultural Quarter' just off Palmyra Square, and formerly known as The Lounge (which I visited some five years ago). The rather anonymous modern bar doesn't really do justice to the fine old façade, but the multi-coloured metal tables and chairs out front certainly stand out, and they were also catching the afternoon sunshine. The previous limited real ale choice has now gone entirely, but the draught offerings included less-usual things like my Erdinger Weißbier (£4.90, and served in the right glass).

Steve C left this review about The Lounge
The Lounge consists of a small U shaped bar area at street level and a downstairs area that was closed off during my visit just after 23:00 on Saturday night last week. There was a decent sized crowd making the bar area comfortably busy and in the corner was some young guy playing funky tunes off his laptop. The volume was loud, but nowhere near most of the venues I had previously been to in town. The bar is stocked with premium draught and one of the two hand pumps was unused leaving Phoenix Brewery’s Arizona as the lone ale choice.
Open mic is held here on Thursday evenings.
This place is far enough away from the main drag where the students, chavs and tramps gather to be vaguely relaxing. This was certainly the least repulsive venue I found during my whistle-stop tour of Warrington.
