Alan Winfield left this review about Old House at Home

The Old House at Home was a nice looking pub that was stood on its own,the pub was situated fairly close to the river Irwell in the lower kersal area of Salford.
Once inside the pub had a drinking corridor and rooms off it,i had a drink in the main bar and this was a nice room to have a drink in.
The pub was a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a really nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
This pub is still standing but Holts brewery have sold it off,the pub is now boarded up awaiting its fate.
