The Wellington Hotel was a bare brick built pub that stood on its own in front of a very large factory which is still there.
Once inside this was a very basic pub with a couple of rooms i had a drink in the bar which was very basic but decent enough to have a drink in.
The pub was a Whitbread tied house and it still had its chesters signs outside,there were no real ales on here with the only beers being keg Chesters bitter and mild,i had a drink of keg Chesters mild and this was a fairly decent drink.
This pub has now been pulled down and there is now nothing on its site.
What a waste.
