A near enough generic modern Brewer's Fayre pub/restuarant with attached Premier Inn. With a half-hipped roor, it is in brick and cream render with a porch, covered walkway and a front patio.
The interior is an open plan room with the bar facing you on entry. The room is in a generic decor for this kind of place, having different coloured/styled walls; pale green, patterned wallpaper, wood panel, peach brick and a red chimney breast. The ceiling is white and there is mainly a patterned carpet, with some wood. The walls, in general, have the usual bistro pictures on them and the seating had several different patterned types of chair, all mixed up; not a good thing for those, like me, that want to put them all in the right groups! There was no TV that i saw and the background music was soft. We were looking for somewhere quick to eat and spotted this place, so we ate - the food was OK. The service was fine and the place, initially quiet, filled-up by the time we left.
Beer; no real ale, just a few general keg drinks, without a MILD. I had coffee.
Not a place that i would go to just to drink, even if staying there. It does exactly what it says on the tin, but with a smile.
