Graham Coombs left this review about Kings Arms
An ultra-posh boutique hotel (or pub with rooms as they like to say) with a posh restaurant in a large, glazed construction to the rear which is definitely multiple levels above a conservatory. On the street side it retains a "tap room", fitted with very posh tractor seats, and a cosier room aimed at wine drinkers. I thought I would have to settle for one of the Meantimes on the impressive row of keg fonts but spotted an overshadowed clump of handpumps which had just one on, although it was a rather delicious Tilford Rushmoor. It spent some years as a Loch Fyne restaurant, but following their demise has returned to a wider role, no doubt at considerable cost. Did I mention it was a bit posh, and as you might have guessed also quite pricey. But splendid for a special occasion if you can afford it.
