E TA left this review about Toby Carvery Dodworth Valley

A new build modern pub and restaurant which shares a site with two budget hotels.  It is typical of the breed, cheap and slightly cheerful.  Well, the food is cheap, the beer is marginally below average price.  The food is what it is, the same as every other Toby, though on this occasion the addition of whatever was coughed over the condiment bar and exposed cooked meats by a pair of over-doted brats probably added something to the flavour. Smaller children including babes in arms arrived later to help spread the word – indeed it probably went viral.  There is a small drinking area at the side, but the heavy traffic makes it not a particularly pleasant place to linger, and there is a pool table inside.   The staff were artificially pleasant, and we found their very amateurish attempts at upselling quite annoying.  Ales on were Doombar and Thwaites Gold, the latter in good condition.  OK for its intended purpose.
