Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Beefeater The Bull

Standard-issue Beefeater attached to a Premier Inn, but plenty of general tables in addition to the main seating / dining areas (although they all look exactly the same, of course...). Slightly surprisingly though, both of the handpumps were in use, with London Pride (£4.05) available as well as the expected Doom Bar.

Roger Button left this review about The Bull

This brand new Beefeater pub and grill restaurant attached to a Premier Inn was opened in April 2011 on the site of the thankfully demolished and notouriously rough Déjà Vu nightclub.

You know pretty much what to expect from the word go but to be fair, there is a large drinkers area as well as a spacious restaurant section so both sets of customers should be reasonably satisfied and Swanley is so devoid of pubs that anywhere to get a pint is welcome and this is actually one of the better pub options in town.

The not unattractive interior is naturally quite modern with lots of gleaming new wood and modern abstract divides but the real eye opener must be a “video” fire beamed onto a panel to simulate some feeling of cosiness!

There are 2 ales, Hobgoblin and Wadworth 6X , the latter being drinkable but hardly outstanding although at £2.05 a pint, I suppose one has to take the rough with the smooth. Meals are the usual Beefeater/chain grill stuff with main dishes around £8 to £20 for the top end steak dishes.

It’s a good 10/15 minute hike from the town centre but given the alternatives, you’ll be glad to make the effort although you’ll probably vow never to visit Swanley again for a drinking spree.
