The Cricketers is a Holts pub with a central bar the serves left and right. The left hand bar is quite thin with banquettes up the left hand wall opposite the bar counter. I spotted two televisions that were switched off whilst chaos ensued during bingo night. It was all very light hearted but I still decided to escape to the right-hand bar. This side is also quite thin with banquettes that run up the right-hand wall. At the rear is a dartboard and a large television, live sports are advertised. Both bars support standard keg and two hand pumps that were drawing Bitter and Santa’s Vacation. The service was friendly, but I’ll probably walk past when next in the area.

The Cricketers Arms is a proper old looking stand alone pub that is on the busy manchester road.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms,i had a drink in the bar which was a decent room to have a drink in,this pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
I quite liked this pub.
