Large frontage with a staple shaped interior which is done fairly nicely; maroon banquettes also replicated in part on the bar(!), wall-mounted wood partitioning with red and a silvery wallpaper in places alongside some naval prints. No lighting on a grey evening so very gloomy; I suspect the owners are feeling the pinch of their newly-inflated electric bills. 2x cask both Felinfoel; Double Dragon and a freezing Chrwrew Gorau which was drinkable once it warmed up a bit (NBSS 2.5). At 7.30 on a Saturday night we were the only customers. Not sure it’s got long left in its current guise which is a shame as there’s a decent amount here to work with
