David Ross left this review about Caws Bar

Remarkably inexpensive for a city centre outlet at £2.45 for a pint of Tartan Special, and that was on a Friday night, so it was no midweek special offer. McEwan's 70 and 80 Shilling, John Smith's, Guinness and lagers are also on tap at very reasonable prices. Caw's is an old pub which, although modernised inside, has retained its traditional atmosphere with wood panelling and pictures of old Dundee scenes on the walls. A mixture of young and older and male and female customers gave it a lively weekend atmosphere.
