Bucking Fastard left this review about The Honey Bee

A modern new build Marston's house, located in the rapidly built "village" which has been christened Fairford Leys,a disconcerting development which would not be out of place in an episode of The Prisoner. The pub itself is carpeted throughout, open plan and the very essence of corporate. There are some high tables by the entrance and two large banquettes to the left side, but the uniform furniture and faux fireplaces dont inspire. It's a 2 for 1 eatery and on my lunchtime visit there were a lot of babies in high chairs,it a popular family venue. You can sit outside on smart wicker chairs, internally tables were sticky and glasses uncollected. The annoying muzak was being played a shade too loud for lunchtime and the only event advertised was a psychic night, never a good sign.
At least there are two banks of four handpumps dispensing Pedigree,Hobgoblin and Ringwood 49er (OK condition, pricey at £3.60)on my trip .My food was passable from the standard Marston's menu, but it is difficult to foul up a baked potato.Somehow I just don't forsee a return visit.
