I only came here to get a photo, but it was so cold that I thought I might as well pop in to see what real ales might be on. A quick look at the bar counter showed a) too many people queuing up for service and b) three hand pumps with just the one pump clip - turned around. I beat a hasty retreat.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Toby Carvery
Not really a pub, of course, but it does sell real ale and it does do some pub-ish things like holding quiz nights. 'L'-shaped bar and carvery. Just one of three handpumps in operation, offering a serviceable pint of Wainwright at £2.50. Handy for the Travelodge across the road. (NB - Review dates from September 2011.)
