The Box is a modern bar housed in a modern building.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room with the bar on the right side,the floor is part tiled and bare boarded,there are normal tables and chairs to the front.
There were no real ales on the bar,so i had a drink of Heineken which was a decent drink.
The bar was pretty busy with fancy dressers doing the Otley road run.
Not really my sort of place.

Two floors of unremittingly modern bar, popular with Otley Rd runners. Downstairs is split level with the bar on a higher section to the right and a row of stools down a half wall opposite dividing this area from the lower section with a comfy seating area with bench seats and low tables and stools. There are big screens and more speakers than at a Grateful Dead gig. Outside at the front is a seating , drinking, pimping area watched over by large black bouncers even mid Saturday afternoon. More of the same upstairs with a counter, pool tables and a roof garden. Usual keg stuff only but Ilkley MJ “craft keg” was available on the downstairs counter. Staffing was as poor as you expect in this sort of place but I expect the usual clientele will be used to that.
