The Castle Inn was a normal looking pub that was on a sharp corner at the bottom of monk street.
Once inside this was a pretty normal two roomed pub that was fairly comfortable.
The pub was a Bass tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Bass and this was a decent drink.
This pub is still standing but it has closed down and been converted into flats.
