Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Red Lion

Very attractive building relocated from Stoke-on-Trent to the National Tramway Museum, featuring plenty of decorative tiling and etched glazing. Also now houses the Poulson Room at first-floor level offering pies at lunchtimes and afternoon tea. No handpumps, but the regular Brampton's Best is available on gravity (£2.60). Probably not worth paying the entrance fee just to visit this pub, but a 'must visit' if you happen to be there anyway.

Quinno _ left this review about Red Lion

Located within the confines of the Crich Tramway Museum (pay to enter), the Red Lion is a splendid-looking pub façade that was transported, brick-by-brick, from Stoke in the early 1970's after the original site was cleared to make way for the A500.

I popped in when visiting the museum in 2010, during a particularly cold and wet Tuesday afternoon in September. Sadly there wasn’t really much going on inside, I suppose a combination of being off-peak and poor weather put paid to the chances of seeing a good ale available, just a couple of national kegs on offer. It’s laid out over two rooms, both of which are fairly spartan. Hopefully they do a bit more with this place when it’s peak time and the sun’s out.
