This is actually a fairly nice hotel bar over a couple of rooms; embossed ceiling moulds, bespoke castle themed carpet and a dark varnish bar with various colourful shields painted on. No other bugger in on Saturday afternoon and perhaps looking at the drink selection you can see why, two redundant pumps with just Carling and Guinness on keg. The Carling, I should note, was only £1.60 a half. Feels like a missed opportunity, there could be a good little bar here. 3.5
