A campsite bar but one that happily welcomes non-residents (mainly, I suspect, as it’s the first hostelry you hit after a punishing day on the West Highland Way). Farmhouse barn style interior with a more modern upstairs level. Loads of agricultural implements hung around, as well as guitars and a set of stocks. Mounted TV with live football advertised. No handpumps for ale but Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted was on keg for £3.95

Very unusually for a campsite bar, this is actually quite a decent pub. Built into a stone walled outbuilding of what is still a working farm, it has a nice, cosy atmosphere and features live music some nights. Meals are available, all day every day and there is an outdoor seating area with a wood fire to keep away the midges. The bar and campsite are literally a minute’s walk away from the West Highland Way and it’s a popular stopping off point for walkers on the long distance footpath. Although it’s part of the campsite, you don’t have to be staying there to drink in it.
