E TA left this review about Radnor Arms

A family run roadside pub dating in part from the 17th Century. There is a small car park adjacent to the road, and a small outside drinking area. No real ale, just Doombar and Pride in bottles, so the sign that read “Fine beer ALWAYS served here” failed to manage my expectations adequately. There is a singe J-shaped bar, with a part-carpeted floor and the servery in the centre. There was a TV in one corner, but this was switched off. It is probably sometimes a decent local judging by the other clients, but the sour-faced landlady was far from welcoming. The barmaid was a bit more cheerful though. The background music was generally awful. It’s not somewhere to which I shall rush to return, despite the sign outside proclaiming that it’s the last pub before the M4 - there are plenty of pubs in Malmesbury and more the other side of the M4 junction.
