We walked through the door, the place went quiet, everybody turned round and looked at us ! We had a pint of Brakspears Bitter each and sat down and the pub returned to normal. There was a whole load of banter going on between the locals and the landlord which was very amusing and by the time we had finished our pints we were starting to be included in the conversation. If we'd have had another pint I suspect that it would have been difficult to leave until closing time. Fairly typical, black and white, low beamed pub which does food both lunchtime and evening. Very pleasant.
We finished our pints, thanked the locals for the entertaining floorshow and continued our pub crawl.
