Five Bells, Bourne

The Five Bells is a stone built pub that is on the busy A151.
The front door to this pub is closed and the main entrance is at the side,once inside you have to go to the right which takes you back to the front of the pub.
There was one room that i noticed and this had just been done up and looked very clean and the decor was in the modern style with the bench seating matching the carpets,no doubt the people running the pub were pleased with this makeover but i think the pub has lost some of its pubbyness.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Batemans Summer Swallow and this was quite a nice drink the other beer was Taylor Landlord.
There were meals available but none of the tables were laid out for diners which is a plus point for the pub.
