On our last visit the Mandeville had re-opened under new management. We called in early on a Wednesday evening and were the only customers (halfway through our drinks, we were the only people in the pub as the landlady went to sit outside in the sun). Tired of waiting to get served a second pint, we left. Shame because the Moor Beer Company's 'Revival' wasn't at all bad. The menu looked comprehensive and good value but the drinks were, I felt, badly overpriced - we're in the depths of Somerset here, not London! We then drove to nearby Sonny's in Hardington Moor, but it was so packed we couldn't get in - that tells you something. Well below average - I hope they've got their act together.
