Magnificent building.

Hotel, restaurant and typical Green King Pub. Lots of toddler/kids/prams at 8:30pm on a Saturday night.

GK IPA or Abbott, not the most inspiring of choices. I asked the barmaid if she knew of a decent pub in Yeovil. She claimed to not drink. In Yeovil.

E TA left this review about The Manor Hotel

A splendid Georgian town house, originally the family home of one of Yeovil's rich and famous glovers, now extended as a town hotel and run by GK. It's actually quite good, at least by GK's standards. The décor has been sympathetically restored, there is a bright, airy conservatory which is not in keeping with the building and the grounds are well maintained. There is a small car park at the front along with some benh seating next to the road and a larger grassed seating area in front of the conservatory. Inside, there is a good sized restaurant area on one side and a bar from which the conservatory dining area is reached. The staff were overworked, and the food was over-priced, but that was no surprise. Two handpumps on the bar, clipped GK IPA and London Glory, but neither of these was available. Speckled Hen was actually on the Glory-marked, and that was predictably dull. It's not a bad place to spend time before going to the theatre.

One of Yeovil's classier restaurants / bar with a friendly welcome and very efficient staff. The menu is quite extensive, high quality and very reasonably priced - their 2-for-£9.99 meal deal is only a couple of pounds more expensive than 'spoons but there's a world of difference in quality, value for money and ambience. The comfortable bar, alas, only has one ale (GK IPA) but there is a good wine list, all under £20. Has sadly deteriorated slightly since Lisa left to manage a larger hotel in Bideford - ie no tablecloths or linen napkins - but still very good indeed.
