Very plush hotel bar and very expensive. Lots of people dining and no-one but me in the bar itself. No real ales and four keg offerings. I won't be back.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Caxton Bar

Bar located within the imposing St Ermin's Hotel, adjacent to St James's Park underground. Although not obviously signed, its separate doorway is located about half-way along the right-hand side of the hotel as you walk towards the main entrance. Small, staple-shaped bar with two comfortable lounge areas beyond. Stylish, plush furniture and decor. Table service. No real ale, but three Meantime beers on tap - London Pale Ale, Pilsener and a seasonal (Smoked Porter on my last visit). Also has a good selection of bottles from the same brewery in the fridge. Not my sort of place, and despite the sky-high prices (even higher if in the restaurant - typically £5.20), pretty good for an upmarket hotel bar.
