Alan Winfield left this review about The Harrow

This pub used to be called the Harrow and it was an Home Ales tied house.
The pub was ruined and had its name changed quite a few years ago and there are now no real ales in here with the only bitter being John Smiths smooth.
I first visited this pub in the early 80s when it was a two roomed pub,i have played table skittles here many times.

The Roundhouse has now been renamed back the Harrow and real ales are back on the bar.

Once inside the pub has now been opened out into a single room which is roughly oblong shaped with a small area to the rear left off the main room with a pool table in it.
The seating is noraml tables and chairs opposite the bar and bench seating to the rear which used to be the old lounge.
There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Blue Monkey Infinity which was well past its best, the other beers noted were Old Hoppy Hen,GK Abbot and Harrow Bitter, there was also a real cider which was Old Rosie.
There is a TV to the front which was showing horse racing, there was some decent background music playing.
The pub was very busy on my late Saturday afternoon visit with a mixed bunch.
This is a big improvement on the Roundhouse, just a shame my drink was well below par.
