Nick Davies left this review about The Lounge

Don't let the name put you off, it's a reasonable stab by Everard's at a town centre pub and is pleasant enough during the day, though can get very busy in the evenings as the week progresses. Long and thin, it penetrates the entire block: if you explore far enough you end up in "No 75" on Bedford St, which they use as a function room. Makes a change from neighbouring Wetherspoon, but it by no means the best Leamington can offer.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lounge

Elongated modern bar with a mix of furniture at the front, extending back to large lounge area at the back, and smart decor throughout. Four real ales - Original, Tiger and Sunchaser from Everard's plus Ruby Witch from Moorhouse's (£3.40) - from a total of six handpumps on the counter in the middle section linking the two seating areas. Overall, a surprisingly pleasant place to stop for a pint.

Have to agree with the other recent visitors, this is a well appointed town centre bar, smartly decked out with the chandelier of inverted wine glasses a feature. The bar extends down one side of the rear section which ends with a collection of dining tables. The two banks of 4 handpumps were serving Everards Beacon,Sunchaser,Tiger and Original on my trip,my second pint of Tiger was very decent, the first should have been pulled through but hey ho.
Well done to Everards,a reliable and pleasant spot and proving popular with female customers on my Thursday 5pm visit.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Lounge

We too enjoyed our visit here, the staff were very professional and the service was good. There were three ales from Everards and a Bath ales Bath Spa on handpump on our visit. I presume the Everards are their regular ales and have one rotating guest. I do like a good pint of Everards Tiger and have to say it was in great shape here. They also serve food here.

ROB Camra left this review about The Lounge

Very nicely appointed bar with a couple of "see and be seen seats" in the window and two semi circular comfy alcoves at the front. The rear area is mainly high dining tables and chairs. There is a great looking chandelier at the front made out of wine glasses. The display cabinets at the front are filled with wine bottles. There's also a bandit and a quiz machine. 8 handpumps on the bar in two banks of four repeated. Everards Tiger, Original & Sunchaser plus Bath Gem on our 2 visits. The Sunchaser was in good nick and the other half liked the wine which is why we called twice. We'd have stayed longer on both occasions but last orders were called at 10:30 on both Sunday & Monday. It's a very nice bar and a peaceful place to sit for a while.
