Steve C left this review about Coronet Bar (Cavendish Hotel)

The Coronet is a bright and airy contemporary bar that is attached to the Cavendish Hotel. Staropramen and some standard draught products are available and there is a hand pump that was drawing Hophead during my recent Saturday evening visit. The Guinness wasn’t at its best, but the service was friendly. The bar is bookended by two plasma screens that were showing muted golf via Sky Sports and a band (piano/trombone/drums) was setting up on the right hand side of the bar. There is a long window with adjacent seating that has nice views of the beach and this place is much larger than the many other hotel bars in Eastbourne. Food is served, but due to the timing of my visit I didn’t see any menus or anyone eating.

I’d be happy to find this bar if I was staying at the hotel, but I see no reason that any Eastbourne locals would drink here rather than one of the nearby pubs.
