One of the local CAMRA branch’s favourites. This is an L shaped place, fairly modernised and maybe a little bland, refitted in light neutral tones. We did enjoy the cushions though! Three beers over four pumps; Oakham Once to Yourself (very good nick), Oakham JHB and Grainstore Cunning Fox (presumably a house beer and also very good). Rutland CAMRA POTY 2016 and 2017 and we could see why. Looks to have moved upwards since Al’s visit a few years back – it is now privately owned, which may explain it.

The Fox and Hounds is a decent looking stone built pub.
Once inside the bar faced you and the room was carpeted this room was L shaped and there was also a pool table in it.
There was only one real ale on here this was Marstons bitter and this was a decent enough drink.
