E TA left this review about The Red Lion

A thatched village pub which has been recently renovated inside and out. It is now primarily a gastro business. The pub is on a sharp bend in the middle of the village, and it has a small gravel car park at the side. There is a large terraced garden with reasonable views of the surrounding countryside. Inside, the single long bar has a mix of flag and wooden floors and is mainly furnished with tables smartly laid for diners. There are a couple of sofas at one end adjacent to a large brick fireplace, which contains a woodburner. The fireplace is the only original brickwork on display. The main central beam is clad and supported on new brick piers. We had missed the timing for food so can't comment on it but it looked like reasonable value for money. Two ales and Black Rat cider were on draft: I had a pint of Sign of Spring from the nearby Stonehenge Brewery. The beer was in decent condition and made a refreshing break. Worth dropping in for a pint, and I'd like to come back and try the food next time.
