The Farquharson is a sizable Georgian house right on the A354 about 2 miles to the East of Blandford, currently a Hall and Woodhouse pub. The building is ageing and in need of modernisation, slipping into a state of elegant decline. The welcoem was very friendly though, from both staff and locals, and the conversation was good. There wasn't any food on when I visited, unfortunately. There was onyl one ale on draft, Badger Best, and Tanglefoot was the only bottled choice available. All that aside, it's the better of the 2 pubs in Pimperne, the Best was decent and it was a comfortable place to spend an evening. Worth dropping in if passing.
