Malden man left this review about The Worlds End

A large riverside pub pretty much in the middle of nowhere, split level inside with numerous interconnected areas. What I took to be the oldest part of the building has very low ceilings with "duck or grouse" signage, mostly flagstone floors although a side room which houses a pool table is carpeted. The same area has a rowing boat suspended from the ceiling as well as a collection of red military tunics, various references also to a dutch war which is a new thing to me. Otherwise plenty of maritime features including framed pictures of ocean going liners, battleships etc. Lots of exposed brickwork including a central through fireplace.
Three handpumps offered Abbot, Doom Bar and Wells IPA. Food served, I didn't investigate prices but a few seemed to be enjoying fish and chips.
Outside seating but the raised river wall prevents a good view. I enjoyed half an hour in here prior to undertaking a fairly long walk along the estuary riverside.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Worlds End

Old Thames-side pub, located between Tilbury Pier and Fort, albeit with the river hidden by the sea wall. The traditional-looking interior has been partially opened out to form various seating areas, with basic furniture and decor and nautical / local history photographs on the walls. Limited but good-value bar food menu. Pool room to one side, with a beer garden beyond. Two of three handpumps in operation, offering Greene King IPA and Abbot (£3.00).
