Competent and tidy village pub on main road. Comfortably furnished with the rooms at the front set out for eating and a plainer room at the back which goes as far as a quiz machine but no other distractions. Appears to have Tetley as a regular draught beer with a couple of guest ales; seemed in good order and very drinkable. Food quite good although not exceptional. A few spaces at the front but larger car park to the rear. Cask Marque registered.
