E TA left this review about Seamoors Wine and Music Bar

A scabby single room bar on the ground floor of the marina complex, open to the very worst of the general public. Cask ales are advertised on a board outside, which turned out to be Hobgoblin and GK IPA, both tainted with something other than what the pump clip advertised. Devoid of atmosphere, charm and class, this place really lowers the tone of the adjacent marina. Not worth the journey.

Steve C left this review about Seamoors Wine Bar

Seamoors Wine Bar is located in Sovereign Harbour on the waterfront and the café style seating out the front affords a view of the many boats of varying sizes that are moored there. Unfortunately I’ve been in a few wine bars in my time and I must say that I’m a little confused as to why this place markets itself as one as I thought that it would be best described as just a bar. The wine list didn’t look anything special and I think that most pubs would have a similar if not larger selection. There is a limited standard draught range and a hand pump sits on the bar and it was drawing Hobgoblin during my visit this afternoon (Monday). The woman behind the bar was in no rush to serve me, but she was nice enough when she had finished her conversation with the two old locals who were surfing the internet on a laptop that was sitting at the end of the bar. There is a plasma screen that was tuned into Heart FM, but there are advertisements for Sky Sports so the football is shown when it is on. The seating mainly consists of heavy four seat wooden tables and high backed chairs and there is a fruit machine and cash machine. Food is served and most of it looked to be standard pub grub, but a few fish dishes are available.

I didn’t think this place to be anything special, but I’d probably pop back in for a pint if in the area as there isn’t really much choice in this neck of the woods and I’m not one for sitting in the same pub all afternoon.
