Will Larter left this review about The Nag's Head

An attractive roadside pub on the outskirts of the town with a restaurant extension, beer garden and car park. The public bar is accessed from the side road and is small and intimate. The bar itself features four hand pumps, with three Marstons beers on at the time of my visit. An open fire was the only other notable feature.

Alan Winfield left this review about Nags Head Inn

The Nags Head is at the top of the hill on the southern edge of Castle Donington.
This is a decent looking pub that has always been a Marstons tied house.
Once inside here the pub has been opened out with there is a smallish carpeted lounge area close to the bar that is set aside for drinkers this is quite cosy and there is also a dining area which is larger.
There were three real ales on the bar we had a drink of Pedigree and this was a very nice drink there was also Hobgoblin.
This pub classes itself has a gastro pub but i think drinkers are just as welcome here.
