This Robinson's pub is set on the South side of the river bridge in the centre of Beddgelert. Although open to the general public it's more of a hotel bar but there is a back bar that I've only once seen open. As noted below you enter the hotel entrance and then there are two small rooms to the left the second of which contains the bar. These rooms are carpeted with various low seating.
There are three hand pumps which had Blonde James Blonde, Unicorn and Double Hop. I went for the Unicorn which was rather cold and unexceptional. None of the Beddgelert Robinson's pubs are that great but this one does have the advantage of having the bus stop to Porthmadog right outside.

A fine establishment serving Robinson's ales. Unicorn (excellent) and Double Hop (maybe just passed its best) were on sale, our visits completed with really good food. Eating was slightly hampered by the type of chair/table combination, and it was a shame that the lovely restaurant was restricted to hotel guests only. The staff were charming and friendly, and a wonderful log fire welcomed guests in a charming area off the main bar. Well worth a visit in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

An inn in name and nature, occupying a great position in the very centre of the village. It looks like a pub from the outside but when you go through the front door you arrive in a hotel reception. Pass through a bar/lounge room to the side to access the main bar area. There was another room to the rear of the bar area with a dartboard.

The bar had patterned red carpet, there were heavy looking beams on the ceiling, framed photographs on the walls, a green upholstered bench around the outside of the room. Given the size of the building the main bar area is fairly small, having just 4 rectangular tables and a circular one, although the other rooms offer additional capacity. 1960s tunes provided the background music.

Cask ales were not immediately obvious because they were pulled through by electric pump but I discovered that these were Robinson’s Crusoe, Unicorn and Double Hop. The keg stuff included Robinson’s Smooth Bitter, Robinson’s Dark Smooth (not bad though a little bit cold for a dark drink), Stowford Press Cider, Grolsch 4% Blonde, Fosters, Carling Extra Cold, Guinness, Strongbow and Carling.
