A well run village local on the A539. A small bar room with bench seating leads into a comfortable lounge area. The gents toilet is down an outside path to the rear of the pub with the stone entrance against the rising hillside. At the front of the pub, a patio area with tables leads to a larger garden with more tables and a childrens play area with a slide built into the hillside.
Excellent very good value meals are served all day. Real Ales are usually Taylors Landlord and a Guest Ale.

Mr Hurdle is correct again. A nice pub and a good stop off if you do the pubs into Llangollen using the bus. Go and have a sit on the old tractor by the play area too.
