A small street corner local which makes the most of the available space, extending outside with tables and chairs behind a smart wooden fence. Inside, there's a games room with a modern sports bar feel on the left, with pool table, TVs and high bench seating. The bar here has three hand pumps, with three more in the smaller room to the right of the entrance. Here there are two more small TVs, with bench seating around the walls.

Beers available when I was here were Abbot, Tetleys, Black Sheep, London Pride and two from Bradfield: Farmers Blonde and Brown Cow. This is a pleasant neighbourhood but if you're not from around here I'm not sure it merits the trip out from the city centre just for a beer.

The Byron House is a small decent looking corner pub in the nether edge area of Sheffield.
Once inside here thereaare two rooms i went in the smallish bar which was very busy on my visit.
There was a good choice of beer here with five real ales on the bar i had a drink of Abbeydale Moonshine which was a very nice drink the other beers were Barnsley bitter, Stones bitter, London Pride and Bombadier.
This was a proper pub that i really liked.
