This is a football club bar, well two bars in fact, serving AFC Wimbledon and Kingstonian FC. The bars are open to all from the street without the need for a membership or match ticket and open frequently through the week so I believe that warrants inclusion here. Both bars are large functional spaces designed to hold large numbers although the back bar has a fair bit of seating. The main bar has a stage for events, Sky Sports/ESPN with the service area a long bar across the end wall. I've only been on a match day when plastic glasses are used so I don't know what happens with this regard on other occasions. The back bar operates a queueing system whereby the main bar is standard stand and wait, but service in my experience is efficient. There tends to be one real ale on, not always the case in this type of venue and it is generally quite drinkable. There is an overspill area outside where various food outlets tend to set up when football is on.
I've not added a rating as the place is a little different to a regular pub so would attract a lower and hence unfair score based on my fairly loose system.
Obviously not a destination venue for a drink at least but it does what it does pretty effectively.
