Rex Rattus left this review about The Windmill

There were four handpumps on the bar counter (two at the front, and two more round the side on the left), but no real ale on during my Wednesday lunchtime visit. One of the pumps had a London Pride clip reversed, but I don’t know if the other three are ever used. There was no sign of any food or menus.
This pub is as basic as they get. There is a bit of outside seating on the right, with what looked like a children’s bouncy castle at the back. Plus points are that it is carpeted and is furnished with normal tables and chairs; minus points are the wall decor consisting solely of advertisements and pub notices (IDs required, etc) and the large TV on showing Loose Women with guests Cilla Black and Janet Street-Porter. I didn’t stay long, and very much doubt whether I’ll return.
