Alan Winfield left this review about The Bell Tower

The Bell Tower was a large stand alone pub that was probably named after the bell tower that was on the corner of the pubs roof.
Once inside this pub was quite smart and it had a decent atmosphere to it,the pub was a Whitbread tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Boddingtons bitter and this was a fairly decent drink.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to end my pub crawl in.
Sadly this is yet another chapel street pub to close down.
